Long before Appy Fizz existed, Parle Agro had already established a habit: creating categories that did not exist. The Parle story begins in 1929 in British India — a biscuit company that would eventually fracture, through the passage of time and the natural divergences of a joint family, into separate entities. By 1985, one branch of the original Chauhan family had formed Parle Agro as its own independent company, focused on beverages. That year, under Prakash Chauhan's lead
